We care about the safety and the care for our children, families and our employees. We are taking mandatory precautions as well as extra measures  to keep safe from COVID-19. Learn more about our updated health and safety practices in response to the present pandemic.

Our new health and safety guidelines are in agreement with the CDC recommendations for schools as well as state and government requirements. We take the protocol seriously to keep our children, families, and teachers protected.

 

Our Daily Protocol

Health screening and Face coverage:

Our staff will wear presentable masks throughout the entirety of their shift, indoors.  Parents must wear masks while dropping off or receiving their kids. Our staff will take the temperature of the child and have the child wash hands immediately after arrival. Temperatures are taken twice a day (arrival and after nap).

Distancing and Classroom size: 

We are practicing social distancing by limiting classroom size to max of 20 children total. In addition, we are splitting the 20 children into two groups of 10 children : 2 teachers.  Staff have been fully vaccinated.

Exposure Policy: 

If a child or family member has been exposed / possibly exposed to someone testing positive with Covid: The child will need to stay home and quarantine 5 days before getting tested. The child can return to school with clear test results. Vaccinated adults and staff, with possible exposure to a Covid patient, will need to get tested 3-5 days after exposure. Vaccinated adults and staff, with positive exposure to Covid, will quarantine 3 days before getting tested. The families of the cohort with the possible exposure will be notified. If the child tests positive for Covid, the cohort will need to  quarantine 5 days, then the children will need to be tested before returning back to school. ​

All test results should be emailed to school prior to return to school.

WIll be held outdoors until further notice. Location will be emailed along with the event date and info.
